Q: What information do we collect?

A: We collect information from you that is necessary to complete tax forms and other government required documentation. Such information will include items such as your name, mailing address, date of birth and social security number. We will never ask you to send this information to us via e-mail. We may ask you for other contact information, such as your e-mail address, so we can keep you up to date with any last minute tax law changes and to contact you from time to time regarding services we provide. However, you do not need to provide us with any information outside of what is needed to complete your governmental forms.

Q: What do we use the information for?

A: Information collected for governmental forms will be used to prepare items such as tax returns. Other contact information will be used to reach you in regards to law changes or service reminders, such as the upcoming tax season.

Q: How do we protect your information?

A: Once work is completed, all sensitive information is stored in an encrypted file located on a drive that is not accessible from the internet. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include information requested by any governmental agency for the purposes of financial inquiry (for example, the IRS asking for a second copy of a federal tax return form).
